A philosophy based on authenticity
During pressing, great care is taken with handling and wine production. Our goal is to offer wines that are authentic, each an expression of its origins. Our red wines highlight the unique aspects of each vineyard. A relatively long period of contact with the pressed grape skins and wood-aging (in large wooden containers, large barrels and new and used barriques) contribute to bringing out the character of the wine and lend it its penetrating structure. With our white wines, we utilize low-temperature fermentation as much as possible with limited use of new wood in order to bring out the fruity bouquet, freshness and mineral qualities. Since 2009, we have also been using concrete containers.
