Cassina d’Agno 08.11.2022
The labour-intensive, sweat-inducingly hot summer brought us a wonderful harvest, a little lower in yield, but particularly promising. In the cellar, this year's wines are already resting in the barrels, outside we are repairing the vines before winter sets in. Fortunately, the working days are a little more leisurely, cooler and shorter.
The pandemic and the difficult global political situation have presented us with new challenges, for example with regard to the procurement of bottles, cartons and corks; In addition, some winegrowing products experienced significant price increases, which unfortunately also has an impact on our wines: I can't avoid raising my beloved Sottoroccia above the CHF 20 mark from the 2021 vintage.
